Jelena Dragicevic • Editor-in-Chief and President 

Jelena is a rising junior at Harvard College studying History and Literature (European Field of Studies) and Economics. As the daughter of two Yugoslavian refugees, she is particularly interested in historical revisionism and contested memory politics in the Balkans, which will be the primary topics of focus in her senior thesis. She also focuses on development economics with an emphasis on socio-political circumstances of marginalized communities. Jelena became interested in human rights through her intensive research of war crimes, genocide, and ethnic cleansing, and joined the Harvard Human Rights Review her freshman year. She also writes for Harvard's International Review, Undergraduate Law Review, and Model Congress. Jelena aspires to study international criminal law after college and eventually work for the International Criminal Court.

Lexa Brenner • Vice President

Lexa is a rising junior at Harvard studying Government, with a focus on counterterrorism and human rights accountability measures, especially in the Middle Eastern and North Africa regions (MENA). Hailing from the great state of Texas, she hopes to one day work in the national defense and security industries. Lexa is also involved in Harvard's International Review and Undergraduate Foreign Policy group. Outside of academics, she can be found at the gym, eating lunch with friends, or playing with her adorable Shiba dog!

Leila Wass • Editorial Chair 

Leila Wass is a rising junior at Harvard studying Economics, Government, and Chinese. She first became invested in promoting human rights in high school, where she was involved in Model UN and eventually became the co-president of her school’s Model UN club. This past summer, she interned for the human rights organization One Day Seyoum through the Human Rights Foundation’s Oslo Scholars program, and she has continued her involvement with human rights through directing the UNHRC at Harvard Model United Nations. Outside of HHRR, Leila is involved with the Harvard College Consulting Group, Harvard Yearbook Publications, and two hip-hop dance companies.
